For our Mindspark Robotics Library outreach, we worked with students to introduce them to robotics, engineering, and STEM in a fun and interactive way. We shared our experiences as an FTC team and helped students explore robotics through hands-on activities.
This outreach also gave us the chance to practice teaching and communicating with younger students. By sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm for robotics, we hoped to inspire students to continue exploring STEM and potentially become involved in robotics themselves.
For our Heatwaves Snow Rush fundraiser, we hosted a snow cone and lemonade stand to raise money for our FTC team. We worked together to prepare, sell, and serve refreshments while promoting our team in the community.
The fundraiser helped us raise money for future robotics expenses while giving us experience with teamwork, organization, and community outreach. It was a fun way to bring people together while supporting Heatwaves Robotics.
