Spread the Spark

Spread the Spark is Heatwaves’ global outreach initiative focused on developing our team members’ communication, collaboration, and leadership skills through active engagement with the FTC community. Through virtual meetings and collaborative discussions, we connected with over 25 FTC teams across multiple countries, and through in‑person league scrimmages, we engaged directly with local teams, resulting in 50+ hours of direct outreach. These interactions allowed our team to share experiences related to team organization, outreach, and competition preparation while also learning new technical strategies and perspectives from other teams. By emphasizing two‑way collaboration and mutual learning, Spread the Spark strengthens long‑term connections and supports continuous growth within the global FIRST and Engineering community.
